Old Business

  1. Lakes — The Rip Rap was successfully installed at the small lake to help with the erosion. The cost of this project was $500.
  2. Gazebo Work Party – The gazebo was torn down and burned in October. About a dozen men turned out and with their help the gazebo was torn down in an efficient manner. Thank you to all who were there to help. It was greatly appreciated.
  3. Halloween Party – The Twin Lakes Halloween party and hay ride turned out to be a success. Kids and adults alike showed up in costume. There was plenty of food and a nice warm bon fire. Suggestions were made for changes to next years Halloween Party and will be discussed by the future board.
  4. Roads – Work has not been done in the Twin Lakes subdivision to smooth out the bumps and rough surfaces as was done on 136th St. The county has not had the manpower to accomplish this. Resurfacing of the roads with Microsurface in the Twin Lakes subdivision is still on the county’s schedule for the spring if there is funding available.

New Business

  1. Work Party: A work party will be called for in Jan. or Feb. to cut down and burn the cattails on the lake after it freezes. A date has not been set at this time. All homeowners will be notified when a date is set and a call for volunteers will go out.
  2. Rip Rap – Rip Rap rock will be put along the edge of the large lake this spring to help with erosion. The cost of the rock is $500.
  3. Annual Meeting: The 2015 Meeting of TLHA will be held on Jan. 10 or Jan. 17 depending when the room is available at the bank. Anyone present will have the opportunity to win $50 but you must be present to win. All Homeowners will be notified by mail along with their annual dues bill.

There being no further business Sharon Hanson motioned to adjourn at 7:57 pm. Marcia Retchless seconded the motion. All approved.

Respectfully submitted

Sharon Hanson, Secretary
